Overview
At Dueling Peaks Stable, Link tin can encounter the twin brothers Domidak and Prissen, discussing the location of an unknown object.[2] When they are approached, Prissen tells his brother that he has a lead on the location of Misko'southward treasure.[iii] Still, Domidak notices Link listening and halts him earlier he can reveal his information.[iv] He calls Link rude for eavesdropping on their chat,[5] and Prissen reveals that they are searching for the treasure of the bandit Misko.[half dozen] Domidak berates his brother for almost giving away their lead,[7] which Prissen apologizes for.[8] As they are busy, they tell Link to leave them alone.[ix]
If Link speaks to the brothers once again, Domidak tells him to pay no heed to Prissen'southward words.[ten] However, when Link asks well-nigh the treasure, Domidak realizes that they have been figured out.[11] Prissen suggests telling Link their lead so he will go out them lone,[12] equally in that location is no way he could effigy out the riddle.[thirteen] Agreeing with Prissen, Domidak shares that they are searching for Misko'south treasure, which would make them rich.[14] However, he refuses to give their data to Link for free,[15] instead asking for 100 Rupees.[sixteen]
Once Link pays the fee,[17] Domidak will share the riddle with him. The riddle states, "The piddling twin steps over the little river. My cave rests to a higher place that river's source."[18] He heard this riddle from the former dog walker of the neighbors of one of Misko'south underling's descendants.[xix] Subsequently Link has heard the riddle, the Side Quest begins.
The part of the riddle speaking about a "little twin" is referring to the Little Twin Bridge, south of the Dueling Peaks Stable. It crosses over a small branch of the Squabble River, which is the "little river" in the riddle. Link must follow the river further due south to Hickaly Wood where it begins equally a small waterfall. Climbing the waterfall leads the young hero to a bombable pile of Rocks, which hides the cavern where Misko stored their treasure.
Misko's treasure is made upwards of a number of Treasure Chests and a few Barrels. Inside the Treasure Chests are an Opal, an Bister, two Sapphires, and a Luminous Rock. The Barrels contain Roasted Bird Drumsticks or Seared Steaks. Sitting off in a corner is a group of three Toasted Hearty Truffles, and laying on the floor is a Soldier's Spear. Another bombable wall hides a concluding Treasure Chest, housing a Flameblade. Opening any Treasure Breast and taking its contents ends the Side Quest.
